The NAMIC Mid-Atlantic Chapter kicked off their new Baltimore Affiliate on Wednesday, 8/20 at Milton's Grille in downtown Baltimore. The event was hosted and organized by Jason Barrett, Director of Advanced Products Care, Comcast Eastern Division and Kimberly Stokes, Programming Specialist, Comcast Eastern Division. Pam Ford, Mid-Atlantic President, spoke about the history of NAMIC, discussed upcoming events and provided an overview of the great benefits of being a member to the Baltimore audience. Several VIPs were in attendance including special guest speaker Scott Allison, Senior VP of Comcast MD/DE/RCH Region, Teresa Lee, President of WICT Washington DC/Baltimore Chapter, and Troy Johnson, host of "The Troy Johnson Show" and President of Association of Black Media Workers.
